During my latest visit to the #PhiladelphiaZoo I saw #Makini, the father of the four lion cubs, together with the family for the first time. It made for some great pics – well, great except for that fence which I hate more than ever!

One quick aside – #Tajiri (the Mama) was very distracted by new neighbors next door. The one time she stopped pacing at the fence she walked over to Makini and they nudged each other’s noses. It was such a sweet gesture. What a beautiful couple and an adorable family.
