Monday in the Cotswolds

Spent the morning at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Gardens (CWP) and the afternoon at Bourton on the Water. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day. Enjoy!

A beautiful purple iris at CWP
A beautifully colored bird; I forget the name. In my head is ‘scarlet ibis’ but I’m not certain that’s right, lol.
The prairie dogs were darling.
If ever there was a ‘what are you looking at? photo, this is it.
A beautiful spring day at CWP
Inside the enclosure with the lemurs; they were energetic, engaging, cuddly… fabulous!
The mandarin duck is truly stunning.
The German Shepherd and the zebra were both curious about the other; I could only hope the woman holding the Shepherd had a strong enough grip. She didn’t seem very concerned about it, hmmm.
A gorgeous purple flower seen throughout the park
The rhinos in the flowers (well, almost)
Two dogs playing in the river that runs through Bourton on the Water
War memorial in the center of town
A quintessential street in the Cotswolds: narrow, with stone houses and charming shops.
