Broadway, Chipping Campden, & Batsford Arboretum

In other words ^^, Wednesday. Another beautiful spring day in the Cotswolds. Other than a thunder shower on Monday afternoon, the weather has been amazing!

Took more to the country today, instead of the villages.

Lots of beautiful views, country walking (one incident of fence climbing included), and some wildlife too.

You know the drill… here are a few pics as well as a video; enjoy!

Red deer on the grounds at Broadway Tower
The stud in the bunch
He’s handsome and he knows it; a tricky combination in humans and deer
The Broadway Tower sits in the middle of walking country; the Cotswolds Way runs right past
Hard to see his eyes, which are pitch black and just above the white spots, but they were looking right at me as I peaked over the stone fence for the shot
Cheeky lambs looking to nurse, Mom said ‘Ewe, no!” 😉
Stone fences everywhere
Beautiful blue door in Chipping Campden
Whatever these flowers are, they are at their peak this week and everywhere you look
War memorial in Chipping Campden still displaying poppies in various form from the VE Day celebration a week ago
One of several beautiful homes on High Street in Chipping Campden
You know I like to photograph doors; especially liked the thing at the top
At the Batsford Arboretum
A village church at the back end of Batsford Arboretum
Caught just a glimpse of this gorgeous male pheasant
The aptly named Handkerchief Tree; hard to tell from the picture but it really does look like a bunch of handkerchiefs hanging off the tree
