Chopper over the Delta

One of many highlights from my trip was a half hour chopper ride (no doors! for better photography) over the (Okavanga) Delta.

Here are a few pics from the flight including a rare selfie πŸ˜‚. Enjoy!

A sable antelope looking right up at the chopper.
A large herd of red lechwe in the water.
A smaller, tight grouping of red lechwe in the water.
The beautiful, varied landscape of the Delta from above.
Big elephant with ears out
Can’t say for certain but it looks like the baby ele is nursing ❀️πŸ₯°

Windy, of course, as demonstrated by my fly away bangs.
Another beautiful landscape from the Delta.
Returning to camp and our waiting vehicle.
My fellow chopper passenger, Etienne, as taken by Shankar, another group member.
