International Travel

It’s happening two years later than expected but I am once again seated on an aircraft, a very large one, waiting to depart to international destinations. A layover in Munich before another long flight to Cape Town. I am beyond excited but already bemoaning the weight of my backpack housing my 600 mm lens which is big and heavy but will hopefully be worth it when I can zoom in on the “big five” wild animals and take amazing (I hope) picture.

It was already an adventure to get here today. I waited 15 minutes for a Lyft driver to arrive only for him to tell me he can’t drive to Logan, grrrr. I guess he doesn’t understand how the app works. Lyft had no other drivers available but Uber came to the rescue.

I’m here, we are prepping for takeoff, let the adventure begin!
