I had no plans to replace the front door in my first year in the new house. But, as will always be the case, things happen and plans are changed. In this case, the wooden front door developed a crack large enough to warrant a replacement.

I had Renewal by Andersen come out and take a look. After the requisite shock at the costs for a new door, I enjoyed designing my new ‘entry system’ on the salesman’s iPad. (As in, it’s not just a door, it’s an entry system. Marketing at its finest. 😊) I had considered replacing a few doors but stuck with just one.

This is my house and I’m not looking to make fixes with lesser quality materials. Also, since I’m not a DIYer the full service provided was also worth it.

After a longer-than-expected wait, (is there anything that isn’t delayed right now? Thank you Covid.) the door was installed last Monday.
